Refuge is committed to provided tools to help students achieve physical health. We believe in the whole person, physical fitness is part of our mission. You have the opportunity to engage in physical activity, team-building games, sporting events and tournaments and a whole lot more.

Twice a week, Tina Sams – a certified Zumba Fitness instructor – joins us to offer Zumba to our students and their families. For more information about Mrs. Sams and Zumba fitness, click here.

Good fitness does a lot more than just help students be healthy physically:

-It teaches discipline.
-It develops a good work ethic.
-It relieves stress.
-It helps you focus.
-It increases self esteem.
-You sleep better.
-You feel better!

Physical fitness is one of the three main focuses we have. Along with spiritual development and academic success, physical fitness is one of our top priorities.
